Angela Chidgey is a painter living in Italy with a passion for colour and... elephants.
She has illustrated two books, designed wine list covers, tapestries and fabric.
In 2007 at an exhibition at the Smithfield Gallery in London in conjunction with the Born Free Foundation, £15,000 was raised to buy satellite tracking collars for the Amboseli Trust for Elephants (ATE) which has the longest running elephant research program in the world.
For the forthcoming exhibition of ceramics at the Piers Feetham Gallery (475 Fulham Road, London SW6) the paintings will be on bowls of many shapes and sizes. All works are one-off, unique pieces. Some of these works can be seen here in room four.
The exhibition will be open from 1st - 4th November from 10.00am to 5.00pm.
